We Need You!
You might win a $50 Target gift card while you help with ACUITY Cool Picks. Mead Library needs teen volunteers to help keep our shelves in order, sign up teens for ACUITY Cool Picks, run movie and gaming programs, and help at the kick-off carnival.
Here’s how it works: Every time you volunteer, you’ll get a chance to win.
Plus you’ll have a reference for job, school, and scholarship applications and earn volunteer hours for service organizations. Volunteer up to 3 times a week, June 13 to Aug. 12, for one hour each time. If you’re in grade 8 and up, apply at the Maas Teen Learning Center, May 23 to June 10. Those interested should try to attend the Teen Advisory Group meeting on Wednesday, May 25, 3:30-4:30 p.m., for info on volunteering.
