The Mead Public Library Great Books Discussion Group will hold its monthly meeting. Great Books is open to people of all ages and educational backgrounds and new members are always welcome. Tonight will feature poetry by Shakespeare, Sylvia Plath, Gregory Corso, and Gwendolyn Brooks. Those who want to join should call the leader, Charlotte Schreiner, at 458-5372. The Mead Great Books group is funded by the library's Everhard-Forrer Fund and the Friends of Mead Public Library, however members are responsible for purchasing their own books ($17.23).
