Reading and Read-to-Me Club members are invited to a carnival on Wednesday, June 26, 1 to 3 p.m. We’ll have face painting, balloons, games and prizes, and more. But you must be a member to attend. You may join when you come, if you haven’t already by then.
The always-popular Tom Pease will be making his annual visit to Mead Library on Thursday, June 20, for sing-along, laugh-along concerts at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. Want the best seats and a personal introduction to Tom? Then stop in and enter our “VIP” drawing!
Wise Guy and His Gal are ready to entertain you with a comedy/variety show on Wednesday, July 10, at 10 a.m. This is a fast-moving series of comedy sketches using acting, storytelling, singing, dancing, puppets, and lots of comedy. See you there!
Who would like to meet Curious George? Who wouldn’t? And here’s your chance. Curious George will be in the Landwehr Children’s Library Center on Wednesday, July 17, from 6 to 7 p.m., and on Thursday, July 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. He’ll also be visiting Storytime on Tuesday, July 16, at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Parents, bring your cameras!
Ventriloquist Wayne & his sidekick Wingnut will feature “life-sized” family comedy, mountain music and vocal magic at two shows on Wednesday, July 24, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
