Mead Public Library has again received a donation of five books from the Aurora Sheboygan Clinic Department of Pediatrics for the Parents Shelf in the Henrietta A. Landwehr Children's Library Center. The books are: "Toddler 411" by Denise Fields and Ari Brown, M.D.,"Nutrition: What Every Parent Needs to Know" published by the American Academy of Pediatrics, "ADHD: What Every Parent Needs to Know" published by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and two copies of "Deadly Choices: How the Anti-Vaccine Movement Threatens Us All" by Paul A. Offit, M.D. The Parents Shelf contains various types of books, including nonfiction titles like these, for adults. There also are books that are written for children, but may be used as tools for parents to help explain concepts to their children, such as introducing a baby to the family, or death of a pet.
