Mead selfcheck

Your Mead Library card is your "no charge card." With it, you have free access to borrow hundreds of thousands of library materials. While anyone may use items in the library, a card is required to borrow materials or use public access computers. A card also is required to access certain online databases. Find out more about how to apply, borrowing limits, returns, renewals and more.

If you already have an account, you can manage your account online.

You also can read more detailed information about requesting materials and also fees you may for which you may be responsible.

Did you know that Mead's self-check units (pictured at left) have been used to check out more than 1.6 million items? They provide privacy for customers and have allowed the library to reduce the number of library staff members responsible for customer checkouts. Four self-check units were installed in October 2005, purchased with money from the library's Everhard-Forrer Fund.
